Highly Durable, Classy Swiss Watches
Rado was initially known as Schup & Co and was established by 2 brothers in 1917. The company was formed in Switzerland. It wasn’t until 1957 that the Rado collection was introduced and it has remained a popular brand since.
Rado are highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts world wide and offer a number of elegant pieces in varying shapes and sizes.

Rado watches belong to the Swatch Group and popular models include: Diastar, Hyperchrome and Centrix. The Diastar model was the first watch in the world to be launched as scratch resistant (back in 1962).
There have been multiple variations of the Diastar since that time. Rado now produce approximately 500,000 watches per year and have approximately 470 staff in total.

Ceramic Watches With Sapphire Crystals
Rado watches are often made from specialised materials and most of their more popular models are ceramic. Sapphire crystals are a must as most of their watches are deemed to be scratch proof. Rado watches are commonly found in black ceramic giving them a sophisticated but minimalist look.
