Stunning 18ct White Gold Ring
White gold rings are known for their dazzling, reflective shine and white gold is more often used as the metal of choice for engagement rings.
White gold itself is made from yellow gold but it does not occur naturally as yellow gold does. 9ct white gold is an alloy of yellow gold and silver whilst 18ct white gold is yellow gold, sometimes mixed with palladium.

18ct white gold is more durable than 9ct, due to the mixture of metals. White gold rings can also be rhodium plated, which makes them even more reflective and makes them highly attractive. The rhodium plating does eventually fade so the ring will become dull again over time (plating can be re-done to bring the ring back to a dazzling shine).
In-Time offer a professional rhodium plating service for white gold jewellery, available from: £27.95
Stone Cut Types For Rings
Precious metal rings are often accompanied by a precious gemstone. Diamonds are one of the most popular choice of stone (for wedding and engagement rings). Rubies, amethysts and emeralds are also commonly found in rings.
Diamonds come in various different cuts which vary in shape. Once of the most common cuts is round but you will find many different shapes including pear, oval & heart.
The ring our workshop team have repaired features round brilliant cut diamonds on the outside with baguette cut diamonds in the middle.

Professional Jewellery Repairs by In-Time
The ring has been professionally repaired by our in house jewellery workshop. They have completely built up all the claws (which hold in the diamonds) and repaired intricate detail work, on in the inside of the ring.
After the initial repairs had been completed the ring has been rhodium plated (to add a brilliant shine) and polished up.
We don’t just offer repairs for rings but for all types of jewellery items. We can repair chains, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and much more. We also offer a pearl re-stringing service for beaded necklaces.
